The ceiling height on the first landing of my staircase is as high as the 2nd floor ceilings. There's a cobweb waaaaaay up in the corner, far out of my reach.
Solutions?
The only thing I can think of is taping my broom and mop end-to-end to extend my reach.
Re: Cobwebs
I love a good DIY solution but I don't think taping those two things will work and may not be safe if it comes apart and falls straight town onto something breakable.
This is the only spot in my house that I can't reach and this is the first cobweb in the 2+ years we've owned our home. I hate to buy something specifically for that tiny space. Fortunately, my vacuum cleaner handle reaches everything else.
Plan: Tell my husband I need him to do it and let him formulate his own idea.
FWIW, there's nothing in my stairway and the area is surrounded by walls on each side (it's a corner landing), so at least if the redneck mega-broom comes apart it won't hit anything. haha.
