ER visit with happy outcome

I am copying this post from my birthmonth board to keep you ladies updated.

I had to go to the ER last night, because I was having shooting pains in my pelvis area.  OB on-call wanted to rule out ectopic.  So we made the trek to the ER and waited hours.  They drew more betas, new # is 6775.  So again doubling time was 41 hours!  hey also did an ultrasound!  We saw the sac, yolk sac and the start of a fetal pole.  I was a little concerned that the fetal pole wasn't more prominent, but the tech and Dr reassured me that it is early to see it.  I didn't get any pictures because it was the ER but our little greenbean is in the right place.  I am over the moon. We have our 1st ultrasound with the OB on June 7th where we should see the HB.

Now onto our big move tomorrow!  Have a great Memorial Day!

Re: ER visit with happy outcome

  • Sorry you were in pain, hopefully you are feeling better.  But glad you got an ultrasound :-)  Yeah it's still to early to see the baby, but it's great that you got to see what you did!!  I hope that you are feeling better for you now that everything is going ok.  I swear being pregnant is one of the most nerve racking things in the whole wide world!!! I Look forward to seeing pics from you ultrasound on the 7th!

  • I'm so glad that all is well and you and your baby are safe and healthy.  It stinks that you had to go to the ER and were in pain, but it's such good news that everything is okay right now.  Happy moving!  I know you have been looking forward to this move for a while!
  • I know it must have been scary to you at the time, but what an excitement it must have been when they confirmed everything is fine? So happy to see that your numbers are going up. I hope they keep climbing! Definitely must post a photo of the ultrasound when you finally get it.
  • Good for you hun, keep growing that little one!!!
