Weekend plans?
Today, I plan to clean (I feel like that's 80% of what I've done so far this summer and it just never stops!), practice, and do some curriculum planning.
Tonight, we have a wedding to go to and I found a lovely dress at Kohl's (of all places!) on sale yesterday to wear. We have 4 or 5 weddings this summer and I needed another dress for the rotation.
Tomorrow, lunch and groceries. Big plans.

We have a pretty busy weekend. Today we have a potluck for AOK, then we have to get the kids to MIL so she can keep them while we go on our anniversary date.
I think we decided to scrap Cheevers because we'd be too rushed trying to get in and out before the dance thing we're going to, so we are going to the performance first (http://www.perpetualmotiondance.org/ - check it out if you are into dance!). After the performance, I think we're going to Picasso Cafe for dinner. I have been once, but H hasn't been yet. They have a ton of vegetarian options for him, which is hard to find around here.
Tomorrow we are going to hang out with the ILs for SIL's birthday.
Last night M stayed at her grandparents' house. We had free tickets to a Redhawks game. Afterwards we went to Pinkitzel and I finally got to try a cupcake from there. Delicious!
Today we are going to get the tags for the new car and I'm going by the mall to use my ON Groupon I purchased. Then we have to go get a baby gift for DH's friend's shower tomorrow. We will then go pick up M and I'll need to think of something to make tonight.
Tomorrow DH and I will be traveling to S. OK for a baby shower for a friend. So that trip will probably take up the whole. When we get back I'll get everything ready to start the new week.
Last night: just watched some TV and relaxed.
Today: Went on a run this morning, now we're cleaning/mowing, tonight we're going on a double date to Deep Deuce and the Redhawks game.
Tomorrow: Church in the morning. My grandma from South Dakota is in Tulsa staying with my mom. My mom and her are coming down here tomorrow to hang out for a day.
ETA: I also plan on attempting to make something like this to hang above our couch.

I was planning on going to the picnic that Critti is going to, but I've never met any of the other people there, and I'd rather make a first impression while not beet red and sweating like a hog from being outdoors in June in Oklahoma
So, since DH works, this is a slow weekend for me--catching up on Real Housewives, trip to Lowes, and tackeling some minor home improvement projects.
I was planning on going to the picnic that Critti is going to, but I've never met any of the other people there, and I'd rather make a first impression while not beet red and sweating like a hog from being outdoors in June in Oklahoma
So, since DH works, this is a slow weekend for me--catching up on Real Housewives, trip to Lowes, and tackeling some minor home improvement projects.
I try not to work weekends, but I think I'll eventually get bored of being a sloth and finish making the syllabi for my July classes.
Today is cleaning and catching up on some old magazine issues I never got around to reading when they arrived. DH is spending the entire day/most of the evening with friends, so I have to entertain myself today. I have some items I want to list on ebay or Craigslist, so I may actually find the motivation to sort through them and write the posting this evening.
I have nothing major planned for Sunday either. I want to get a kiddie pool for the dogs to splash in (and me to sit in too!), so if I get around to doing that I may be hanging out at my pool.
In the evening there's a summer music series in the Myriad Gardens that I'd like to go to.
Yesterday, JJ and I ran errands and hung out at home. We were going to go swimming, but the apartment complex pool was closed. Awesome.
I made French toast and eggs this morning for breakfast, and I've got the French Open men's final on while playing around with JJ. We may go out in a few minutes just to get out of the house, then it'll be cleaning time. Laundry to fold, dishes to wash, counters to wipe down...bleh.
H and I laid around and watched a House Hunters International marathon on Friday night. He even bought us some chocolate chunk cheesecake ice cream from Braum's ... a pretty perfect night, in my book.
Yesterday I went shopping in the a.m. (Gap is doing a 40% off EVERYTHING sale through 6/6!). Around 5, I headed to Bricktown to my future SIL's bachelorette party. I have to say that I had the worst time. Didn't know anyone but SIL and her sister, and the first event of the night was pole dancing. Lovely. From there we donned penis hats and went to Chelino's (where there were several tables with children. awesome.) where we drank giant drinks with penis straws. The last event of the night was Red Pin, which luckily is always a good time. Super uncomfortable night overall, but I powered through it. H went to a birthday party in Tulsa, and I was pretty regretful that I didn't just go with him.
Today I slept in, got some Sonic breakfast, watered my flower bed, and am currently trying to motivate myself to shower. My mom and dad just bought a new RV and are camping at Arcadia, so H and I will head out there in a few hours. I'm hoping today makes up for yesterday.
Nothing too exciting.
Yesterday we ran errands and cleaned around the house. We also went to the new house to see what progress they're making (which is a lot!) and went swimming at my parents house in the evening.
Today we went to church, went to lunch with the IL's and now we're cleaning out the car and going to wash it. My car was a total pit. Then we are going to take IL's to see the new house and then probably go to the grocery store. Some major meal planning needs to happen this week.
Friday night C and I went to the Casino for dinner, drinks and donated a few bucks.
Saturday we had dinner with some friends and did a little shopping.
Sunday we went to OKC and had lunch and went shopping with FIL and his wife.
Saturday, we slept in, did some grocery shopping, and cleaned the house. Then, we hung out with H's family for a bit.
Sunday, we went to a friend's son's 1st birthday party. Then, we looked around at a few furniture stores. We are hoping to buy new furniture soon. I am eyeing a new bedroom set.
