How was your weekend? Do anything fun?
Re: Weekend Recap
I was super productive this weekend!
Painted the crown molding, trim and closet in the babies' room.
Picked up a glider.
Did a bit of deep cleaning.
Hmmm, that doesn't really sound like much now that I look at it, but it took forever so it felt super productive.
Morning! I had a VERY productive weekend, much needed. I managed to unpack and set up our guest room, unpack the baby's room, finish unpacking my bedroom, move 20 boxes from the upstairs to the basement, grocery shop, decorate some walls, and laundry.
We joined a church finally- though I didn't get a great feeling from the assoc. pastor when I told him I wasn't catholic and didn't practice as a luthern because I attended church with my family in the catholic church. He seemed to snub me--- I thought he'd be happy I'm practicing at all, let alone 'joined' his church! Oh well, I don't have to deal with him directly--- and he didn't seem to like the church and said he'd be leaving in a short while anyhow.
Then we went to Taste of Ann Arbor. Oh, and the Plymouth Farmer's Market- MUCH better than Cantons! We're going to check out Ann Arbors this week too!
Getting back to it- my diet and exercise blog
Losing it...Without Losing it
It was a tiring, but fun weekend for me.
I walked to the local Tot Lot with a friend of mine Saturday morning so Brendan could tire himself out. After his nap we went to the local Splash Pad with his cousins and grandparents. After DH got home from the other house we had dinner and then walked up to the local ice cream shop. I got my fav ice cream...BUMPY CAKE ICE CREAM. Yummy!!!
Sunday we went to church and then my parents came over, so we hung out with them for a while.
Like I mentioned earlier, DH was at the old house fixing it up for the renters all weekend.
Unexpected drinks and dinner with a friend on Friday
Saturday: unexpected trip to EM, baby shower, and worked on the pool
Sunday: helped SIL pick up bunk beds, worked on yard and pool
Saturday we went to a friends house for a bday get together, it was nice & relaxing, had a bon fire
yesterday we ran a few errands & just lounged around. I took a nap in the middle of the day, it was nice.

We had a great weekend. We went to Great Wolf Lodge and the kids loved it!
Along the way we stopped at the PB outlet and I found some great stuff for the house. We just couldn't fit it in the car so I plan to go back in two weeks.
We had an awesome weekend. I was home so I enjoyed it.
We had a wedding on Friday
Saturday first we went to a funeral in Toledo (my aunt - host family). Then we did some yard work, met with a pool guy and signed the contract he starts building in our backyard in three weeks (as soon as he gets all permits) then met up with some friends for dinner and met a good friend's 3 week old baby. She is so cute.
Yesterday went to Dexter and Ann Arbor to watch DH run the half, Sasha and I had a great time rushing to the espectator points. Then hung out for a bit in AA and went home to pack and head to airport.
But I missed the flight. According to the lady I got there 3minutes late, they rebooked me for this afternoon without a charge. Which made me believe they gave my seat to someone else because she called the gate to ask if she could still check me (BS since all three last trips I got there within 50min of take off and was fine, this time they claimed I needed 62 minutes and I got there only 59min before). I wasnt too upset since that means I get to be home one more night (leave today though
Our weekend was so relaxing! Probably the last time I'll be able to say that for a long time, but we really enjoyed it.
Friday night we went out to dinner and got ice cream in downtown Plymouth. Saturday we spent the day working on the yard and lounging in the backyard, and Sunday we had my brother's baccalaureate mass and then spent more time hanging out in the back yard.
Serendipity3, South Beach, Miami, FL 2012
Saturday- went shopping, hung out by the pool, out to dinner and the bar for little sister's b-day and then crammed about 15 people into our apartment after the bar until well after 4am
Sunday- cleaned up the apartment, worked out, pool, celebrated Grandpa's birthday, grocery shopping, worked out again
It was a fun weekend, we did nothing but relax and hang out, Friday night Morgan and I took a long walk, Saturday we played outside for a little bit in her pool and then went and ran errands. Sunday H had to work so we had more pool time and then went for another walk. It was nice to be able to enjoy the weather.
Friday I did some shopping after work
Sat- I cleaned out the fridge, cleaned out DD's playroom & we played outside a lot & tried to get her to swim....it was mostly a fail. IDK why she doesnt like it this year
Yesterday-my cousin's communion! It was so hot!
Friday afternoon we flew out to Kansas City to visit with my friend's family. They just had their first baby girl who is only 8 weeks old and adorable! We got some great KC barbecue on friday night.
Saturday we walked around KC and then went to the art museum.
Sunday we went to this cool little museum about a steamboat that sank on the Missouri river in the 1800's - they've restored and preserved a whole bunch of stuff that was supposed to go to general stores out west. It was small but really very cool. Got back home late last night - I'm surprised I'm not walking around like a zombie today.
We finally went and bought a ceiling fan for our bedroom. Not the most attractive thing (are any of them really?) but a must!
I made a cool wreath out of sheet music
DH plumbed in our "new" washer, but when he went to do the dryer, he needed a different fitting, which of course they didn't have at Home Depot.
Then just kind of hung around the house.
Friday my DH, cousin, and I went garage sale shopping. DH bought a really nice wood rocking chair for $25. When we got home he looked it up on line to find people are selling it on ebay for $225. He was pretty excited about his purchase.
Saturday I spent the day cleaning the house.
Sunday Dh's dad and brother came over for a BBQ. We had a good time hanging out with them. We havent seen his dad in quite a while.
Saturday my little brother graduated from high school!!! I was so incredible proud of him!
Saturday through Sunday morning I participated in Redford's Relay for Life for the seventh year running. My team raised over $8,400 and the whole Relay raised over $94,000!!! It was a great turn out despite the heat on Saturday and it stayed dry for the first time since 2005. I was so incredibly exhausted yesterday from all the walking and lack of sleep but it was well worth it!
We took DS swimming for the frst time. He loved it. Also the dog went swimming.
We just enjoyed the Michigan weather.
