Is it just me or is this year HORRIBLE for allergies? What do you take for them? I have been miserable for the last few weeks with itchy eyes, nose and throat and sneezing. The last week or so I wake up in the middle of the night and have sneezing fits. WTH is going on?
Re: Allergies
My DH has horrible allergies year round but right now they are much worse than usual. He becomes immune to the medications like Zyrtec, Claritin, etc... after a while so he just takes Benedryl (the generic brand from Sam's Club) and he takes a LOT of it.
I am too lazy to type my response... so here is some info:

If this is the case then he can talk to his doctor about Xyzal. It is an expensive medication that health insurance doesn't want to cover unless all other common pills have been tried. So usually they want some proof of that from the doctor before they will cover it.
Thanks for the info. I'll have to tell DH to talk about that option with his doctor.
I have really bad allergies but I've been able to keep them relatively well controlled this year...so far.
I take two of the 24hr (generic) Zyrtec every day plus a nasal spray in the morning, I also have an extra pill for breakthrough itching for those times it gets really bad but I've only needed that a couple times this year.
I will not comment then....
