I do think she is looking ahead to 2012, but I really think she is going to be disappointed that her party has changed and I really dont think she will have a shot. Esp. since i think a lot of repubs might end up blaming the loss on her.
I would love for her to be in the Senate. Soooo much hilarity would result from it. AK's seats will probably always be Republican, so why not get some fun out of it?
I think president is out. I don't think she could survive a primary race. Sure, she'll have a couple years to bone up on all the stuff that she should have known for this race, but she has proven herself unable to answer even basic questions and has serious credibility issues. It seems that people in AK are comfortable electing crooks to office, but I just can't see her able to withstand national scrutiny.
I think Stevens will step down and she'll appoint herself. Unprecedented, but totally doable.
