Name a few things on your ?bucket list?: Travel to Europe and have kids are really the only two left. I would really just love the rest of my life to be normal or boring.
5 Places You Think People Need to See before they die: NYC, somewhere in the Carribean, the Northeast in the Fall, Europe, Asia (I think people should see a variety of places, and not all that are in their comfort zone.)
If you had no strings attached to where you live now, where would you move to: Kihei, Maui. We look at condo prices there at least once a month.
Biggest life change since the wedding: Buying the house!
When you were 5, what did you want to be when you grew up: I bounced between owning a cafe (It was going to be "Katie's Cafe") and writing for a newspaper.
Name 1 thing you miss about being a kid: Being carefree.
What is your favorite time of day: My favorite weekend moment is Sunday mornings when we grab the paper and climb back in bed to read it and eat breakfast. My favorite everyday time of the day is probably bedtime - we always cuddle and talk about the day as I fall asleep.
Who lives in your household (include babies/pets/crazy in-laws): Me, Mark and our two cats - Kali and Rocky
How many kids do you realistically hope to have- if at all? Are you working on it yet? If not, when would you like to start?: 2-4ish, depending on money, space and whatnot as we go. We're not working on it and have no real plans to... we'll get there eventually.
What is your go-to food when you have had a bad day: Ice cream.
What is your signature dish/favorite food to make: The two that get asked for the most are baked ziti with sausage and black forest stuffed cupcakes. I like having the variety of different things more than one specific dish, although, I made an awesome chocolate cheesecake last week that was definitely a new favorite.
Favorite Mindless TV Show to Watch: Anything on the Disney channel. I watch it way more than any adult should.
Biggest Fear: Losing Mark.
Biggest Pet Peeve: People that talk on their cell phones while driving. It's illegal in NJ and I still see people doing it all the time. They drive like morons, too.
If you could go back and re-live one moment in your life, what moment would it be: Our honeymoon. It was beyond fantastic. (Which is why we look up condo prices so regularly!)
If you absolutely HAD to switch jobs/careerpaths, what would you choose as a new job (pretend you don't need any furthereducation-SAHM doesn't count for this one): I'd love to work on a team that creates exhibits for museums. Or be one the talking heads for the history channel.
What's the one object (not person) you cannot live without: My teddy bear. Mark gave her to me before we started dating and I've slept with her for the last 7 years... I have a real hard time sleeping without her now.
What was your favorite toy growing up: Dressy Bessy!
