Does anyone use one? I'm looking for a softer, beachier curl this summer and keep reading good reviews. If so:
What model do you have?
Does it have a straight barrel or a cone shaped one?
Is it hard to use?
Do you have a heat glove?
How much practice did it take you to get the hang of it?
Stand up for something you believe in.

Re: Clipless Curling Irons
"clipless?" as in, nothing holding the hair down?

Yep. Hence the glove apparently. And it allows you to avoid that crimpy bump thing at the end where your hair was clipped down.

Is it hard to use? Nope, just wrap your hair around it and hold it for 20-30 seconds and release.
Do you have a heat glove? one came with the iron, I never use it. It's awkward.
How much practice did it take you to get the hang of it? I played around with it a little before the actual event I bought it for. It takes a couple tries to figure out the way to wrap your hair so all the curls fall the same way but it's pretty easy. Takes me abt 10-15 min to do my whole head now.
The only other word to the wise I'd have is to watch the heat, it can get super hot and you probably don't need it that hot. Also, if your hair does hold curl well, this will work REALLY well, so make sure you want your hair curly today.
