I'm too old for pimples. I know this really isn't the case, but I remember being a teenager and thinking that once I got older, I would have miraculously wonderful skin. I don't have bad skin, by any stretch of the imagination, but it's definitely not the easily maintained wonderful skin I thought I would have.
I'm too young to appreciate the Talking Heads. B and I heard a Talking Heads cover band last night at a street fest. Everyone about 5 years older than me was totally into it and knew every song. I knew 3 songs and just didn't see the attraction. I think I was just too young when their music was big.

I'm too old for drama.
I'm too young to have arthritis.
I am to young to hate partying and drinking (but I do)
I am to old to have friends who still do it every weekend even though they have kids.
I'm too old to be saving quarters for laundry, but our landlord won't place a W/D in our apartment. Ah well. I love the apartment anyhow.
I'm too young to not be able to drink caffeine. But there it is--can't have it anymore without side effects and I am sad.
I'm too old to call my mom crying because I miss her and just want to go home. But that doesn't stop me from doing it.
