How was everyone's weekend?
After spending all day Friday at my uncle's funeral services, I needed to REST! It was a long and emotional week. Saturday we just cleaned the house and hung around at home. It turned out to be a cloudy day, so no beach. Yesterday, we went to a festival near our town, and walked around, had some lunch and listened to some live music. Pretty relaxing day
I hope this week is less eventful than last week was!
Re: It's Mondayyyy
Weekend was good!
Friday night was ladies night so dinner and drinks... then Saturday I had two photo shoots and a pedicure! Then my Jeep got a nice scrub down inside and out... then we watched the Bruins til I passed out! Sunday was time to scrub the pool (in ground no liner) then we saw X-Men First Class! It was pretty good! I love that super hero crap!
As far as this week goes... I will be MIA and in NYC for the 8th grade trip! Mixed emotions - hate leaving home for 4 days but it is kinda fun and it's free for teachers... lol...
Hope you all have a great week!

My weekend was good, but uneventful!
Friday evening DH and I had date night....dinner and a movie (Hangover 2....so funny!). Saturday I went to the pool for a bit with my mom and in the evening met a friend and her DH for dinner and drinks. Sunday I didn't do anything exciting.

April Nesties March siggy challenge: Next Vacation, Anguilla!!
Well, Friday night we played in that golf scramble. It was a lot of fun. Then afterward we went to a friend's for some beers and to sit in his hot tub.
Saturday Jeff golfed in the morning, so I started cleaning at 10. I didn't stop until 8 pm. We then rented some movies off of Zune. This was our first time doing that, as we usually rent off of DirectTV. This was cheaper, and you get to have it for 14 days, rather than 24 hours, but streaming was crappy the first time we tried, so we set it to download, which takes like 2 hours I guess, but we tried the streaming again and then we got the full HD. I think we will keep using it, but from now on we will download it earlier in the afternoon so it will be ready by that evening.
Sunday, I started cleaning at 9:30 am and didn't stop until 8 pm again. This has been a deep down cleaning, plus arranging that kitchen furniture we got and so on, so it has taken a lot longer. I am down to the deep cleaning of Jeff's man cave and bathroom...so wish me luck there! Hahah!
I had a pretty good weekend! Friday DH and I met some of his hockey buddies for drinks at a bar one of the guys works at and we were out til 1am!! Haven't done that in a long time.
Saturday I called my BFF back after getting a voicemail from her (didnt hear my phone when she called and didn't want to call at 1am) and she is engaged now! (see other post) I hollered, jumped up and down and cried I was so happy for her! Dh didn't feel good after Friday's festivities so I ran errands by myself, then made us burgers for dinner and we watched the hockey game.
Sunday I caught up on studying and got a call from my uncle, telling me he and his wife are splitting up :-( She was the one I asked about my new career path, and I thought she was not sounding like herself at all. They've been married for as long as can remember and this is the first split in my family like this. Its not public yet so not that you would but dont say anything on FB. Quite the whirlwind of relationship news for me, both very good and very bad.
Hope everyone has a good week!

Glad to hear all you girls had a nice weekend!
Friday night we went on a country music booze cruise, which was so fun. They had a live band on the boat so we got to dance and saw a beautiful sunset!
Saturday was my birthday, and it was a really great day! I was woken up to breakfast in bed from my amazing husband (chocolate chip pancakes - yum!) and with a beautiful card, flowers and gift certificate for a massage. I felt so spoiled! Then me and 4 of my girlfriends went to dinner and went into Boston to see NKOTBSB!! It was such an amazing show and I felt like I was 15 again! My best friend who lives in New York even came for the weekend to go to the concert - it was so great to see her! It was such a great day. The only thing I didn't get that I wanted was a Bruins win
Sunday I just did some laundry and some picking up - and lots and lots of studying. I'm going for my PHR certification (which is an HR certification) and my exam is one week from today. It's a 4.5 hour test of 300+ questions on anything and everything HR. I'm freaking out, but hopefully I pass! I was glad to get so much studying done on Sunday though.
Hope everyone has a great week this week!
They are in KC on july 16th and me and my friend of 15 years are going together - we are so excited!
A10 Siggy Challenge: Our Next Vacation Destination: Paris!
Our weekend began early as we headed 2 hours south to Springfield, MO to visit an old friend of mine. On Thursday night we had pizza at home and organized her garage to prepare for the garage sale we were helping her with. Friday and Saturday we spent doing the garage sale and helped her make $270 - the rest we helped her take to the Salvation Army to donate. Friday night we went out to eat and had drinks at a dualing piano bar - so much fun! Saturday night we had a quick bite for dinner then grabbed ice cream and 3 movies and had a movie marathon until 4:00am - I haven't done that in a while!! Yesterday we slept in and headed home around 1:00pm, then vegged out the rest of the evening. My allergies in southern Missouri are really bad and it left me so sick that I am still recuperating. I thought for a moment I would have to go to the emergency room to receive breathing assistance because my chest was so constricted. I am feeling better now but am still very tired and have quite a bit of sniffles taking place. My body is still pretty itchy but I'm trying to make the best of it!

Happy Monday!!
The plan for this weekend was simple: rest! And I'm happy to report that I was able to do that in spades :-)
I spent most of a most gorgeous Saturday testing out the new deck sofa (which, I'm happy to report, is absolutely comfy!), finished reading "The Help" (highly recommend it), and generally taking it easy. Sunday was more of the same....which was terrific, because beginning with a graduation party on Saturday, the merry-go-round is about to get started up again....
Have a good week every one!
In a sense, our weekend seemed long but went by fast.
Friday night we had date night at home and watched Valentines Day. Then we just hung out and vegged.
Saturday morning was craziness. Greg had to get routine blood work done and I went to run errands in the morning. We left home by noon for a wedding. I drank lots of wine at the reception and had a good time.
Sunday we slept in, went to breakfast and to the store for milk. Then we did some laundry and napped in the afternoon. After dinner we went out for frozen custard.
Now I am tired and dragging today. Hope everyone has a good week.
Worked all weekend (yay for the extra money, but I'm so exhausted!). After I got off work on Saturday, MH and I went home and took a nap, then that night we went to a car show. MH was going to do some work for a friend real late that night, but they ended up not needing him. That would have been a nice chunk of extra money too.
Sunday morning we mostly just relaxed and I made my list of things to do to prepare for inventory at work that day. Inventory was not fun at all. I was in charge of the stockroom. I went up and down the ladder I don't know how many times to make it easier for the inventory people to reach the stuff way up high. Then I had to put it all back by myself too. I am hoping to get a job promotion, so hopefully all this extra work I've been doing will help get me the position. I've already been doing the job for 2 weeks now without any of the official training. I probably know about 80% of what I'm supposed to be doing. I'm so glad I wasn't scheduled to work tonight too to set up for the semi-annual sale that starts tomorrow.
For the most part it was a very good weekend! Some of you girls may have noticed that I posted that DH fractured his toe yesterday
He has crutches and an ankle brace and a boot but otherwise he is alright. Mostly a bruised ego.
This weekend went by so fast! I want it to be the weekend already because I'm going to be reliving my childhood beacause I'm seeing NKOTBSB at Fenway this weekend!!!!!!

Ah you're going to LOVE the show! SO GOOD! I got to see BSB but never got to see the New Kids... it was so amazing. SO good that I might see if I can weasel my way into the Fenway show this weekend... hehehee.
My weekend was so busy! I need a break!
Saturday we went to a few garage sales, took Sadie for a walk, cleaned up some rock around our gazebo that we moved last weekend, went to a graduation party, picked some more rock, put away laundry.
Sunday I picked some more rock, went to church, cut some fruit for the week, did some laundry, cleaned the house, took Sadie for a walk, etc etc.
I'm exhausted!! I now know why I sleep so much when I go to my parents' for the weekend!
