"LaborLooks" Maternity Gown?

Did any of you wear one of those more fun/stylish gowns for before/during/after a hospital birth?  They're on babysteals today, and I'm considering it for myself or a friend for next time around...but didn't know if it would be ridiculous.  Thoughts?

Re: "LaborLooks" Maternity Gown?

  • I just wore the hospital gown the first day and then changed into yoga pants and tank tops for the next few days.  I never saw a need to buy a separate gown, but I know some people prefer to wear their own things.

  • I thought I would want to change immediately, but really I didn't care once I was there. My nurses were kind enough to get me a "good" gown - slightly cuter and much less worn.

Also, I'm pretty small chested. The nurses said bigger chested gals feel less comfortable in the standard issue gowns because the girls pop out pretty easy.

  • I loved, loved having my LaborLooks Maternity Gown during my hospital stay. It was cute, comfortable and great because I was in the hospital for several days following my c-section.
