Need opinions! (re: hanging wall art)

I just finished making these to hang above our couch:

Here's a picture of where they will go (they will be replacing the picture that's there now):

How would you hang them? Just use three side by side? Put all four side by side? Put them in 2 rows?

My concern with doing only one row is I wouldn't know how high to put them. Would I line them up with the sconces? That seems like it would be too high. But if I do two rows, I'm afraid it won't be wide enough for the area and it would look strange. (Obviously, I overthink things lol)

  • My first thought is to put them in two rows, like you have them in the PIP. I'm not a very creative decorator though so someone else may have a better idea :)
  • I like the idea of 2 rows better than a single row, but with only 2 per row it may be too short for the space, depending on the size of your panels. Could you make 2 more and do 2 rows with three each?

  • They look great! I would do 2 rows and if you need it wider, you can just put them a little farther apart. Or maybe do more and make it a 3x3 or something.

  • I would do two row as well...can you make more? They are super cute and I think having three or four across would balance out the couch the best.

I agree with this!  I think it is a great idea but you need more for the area.

I agree with both of these post. Maybe even add more color. Big Smile

  • Thanks everyone! I originally wanted 2 rows of 3. DH thought 2 rows of 2 would be fine, but I think we decided we need some more. I guess I'll be making a some more (which I'm not excited about, they were a pain in the butt to make! But they're pretty cheap.)
