Please Wish Me Well!
Today I start my cyberknife (radiation therapy) treatments on my back. The cancer I have weakened by bones and I have a compression fracture at my T6. Hopefully this therapy will kill off any cancer cells that might be there and start bone growth in that area to heal the fracture. It is 5 days of the treatment. The good news is that I should not get sick or lose my hair (which is just starting to grow back).
Needless to say I am nervous! But, I got a good luck kiss from hubby a few minutes ago, so that is spurring me on ;o)
But if all goes well, this may be the last cancer-related treatment I have for a very, very, very long time!
