ugh...
I feel like I"ve been a terrible mom this afternoon. I'm in charge of dessert for this bridal shower tomorrow. Was counting on Adrian napping so I could finish it. He wasn't interested in napping. Or playing or reading or going outside. He usually loves to be worn and is happy to do anything I do. And he usually loves playtime. Not today. He was interested in flailing, whining, pinching and grabbing anything in sight...in particular my glasses. I got frustrated and popped him down and let him scream while I calmly frosted the cake. Makes me feel like a terrible mother...thankfully he's a good forgiver and got snuggles and is happily playing with the dog right now.

I have ignored screaming many times, sometimes things just have to get done!
This! Plus, usually after a couple of minutes she stops and I've quickly finished what I need to do and then we both happily go on to the next activity. She gets over it quicker than I do
