Wahhh :(
I'm really bummed out.
I know I'm being a baby about this. But, whatever.
DH and I were planning on going to SA for our anniversary in August. I assumed my summer 2 class would be over right before that weekend. I just found out UTA is RIDICULOUSLY STUPID and their Summer Session term dates don't include finals week. So my final will be the day after our anniversary. No trip for us, and I get to spend my first wedding anniversary studying.
I know we can go the next weekend. I know that. But it's not the same. I'm just bummed.
At UNT you at least got a weekend in between sessions, too. Here I take my final for summer 1, then the NEXT day start Summer 2. Have I mentioned I hate this school?

Awwww, I'm sorry. And I definitely agree that it's not the same.
I'm sure we will still do something the day of, like go to dinner or whatever.
I guess I should try to look at it with a better attitude, and think about all the wives who don't get to spend their anniversaries with their husbands at all because they're in Iraq, and things like that.
You can be bummed...I say so.

I hope y'all get some time together! I know we'll fit something in somewhere I'm sure.Oh I'm sure we will go to dinner, and we'll still go on the trip the following weekend.
But this class is a really important class as it pertains to me getting into nursing school, so the pressure of the final will be weighing very heavily on me the day before the final (our anniversary) and will sort of put a damper on any fun I could have.
