Gift??

Tomorrow night I am going to a ballet/jazz recital for 3 boys. I used to watch all 3 of them when I was in high school, and I can hardly believe that the twins are 13 this year! I want to get them something after their recital. I don't think flowers would be appropriate for boys, well not these boys! Knowing them they'd probably give them back to me. Any suggestions??

That's a tough one. How about some kind of candy or another edible treat?

  • I was thinking a treat too, but they eat very few sweets and almost no processed foods. On top of dance, they do soccer, gymnastics, rock climb and track, (the poor parents!!) I was thinking maybe new water bottles with a treat inside, gift card to get yogurt/ice cream? Hopefully, I can find something tonight at World Market/REI/Target.

I like that idea! I bet they'd get use out of it. Maybe some healthier treat, like a nice trail mix?

Target has some really good ones that come in little individual packs and could easily fit in a water bottle.

  • I had been thinking all day and came up with nothing... I now Love the waterbottle idea though. And trailmix is a great idea.
