My favorite place on earth: The Amargosa Valley.

Re: Sunday baking/cooking?
Ugh, I wish this weather was better so we could barbecue! I've been looking forward to it, and it's just not happening!
I made chicken in the oven with barbecue sauce, asparagus, crash potatoes, and a salad. Huz chopped up some strawberries and bananas, and we added grapes and some cool whip and made a fruit salad for dessert. It was all really good, and totally hit the spot.
I made donut cake pops for Huz's little cousin's birthday party/sleepover on Friday. Those things were *loaded* with sugar (donut, candy melts, and covered with sprinkles), so they gave them to the kids as they left Saturday morning lol.
I did lots of cooking/baking this weekend:
Hot and sour soup
won tons
Banana muffins (I cheated and used a box since I had it and lots of overripe bananas)
"fried" rice
fajitas in the crockpot (for tonight's dinner)
bacon wrapped scallops
the infamous roasted broccoli
oh and I made the best fries this weekend:
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.Get some russet potatoes. We used 2 large ones since it is only the 2 of us. (or you can get some frozen ones) and cut them up for fries. Put them in a plastic bag and get some Old Bay Season and little bit of olive oil and put them in with the fries. Shake the bag to get the fries coated. Put them on a baking sheet for 15-20 mins (ddepending on how crispy you want them). They are awesome.
OMG how did you make this! This is my favorite soup ever!!
It is from Weight Watchers "Take Out Tonight" I will get the recipe and post it tonight. It is actually quite simple.
awesome thank you!!
