In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I didn't want to thread jack your other post about blogs - but I wanted to say Congrats on the upcoming closing! I noticed your ticker said you close in 2 days, I'd be getting so antsy and excited!
Will you move right away or take time to do the updates you wanted/paint before you move?

THANKS! I'm FREAKING out right now. Especially since I had a massive day of interviews this afternoon, too, for a HUGE job promotion. Go big or go home right? haha
We close Wednesday, and we have movers scheduled for June 18th. Between that, we're getting a new patio door, all new carpet, and new appliances. SO the plan is to paint this weekend (before they put in the new carpet.) I'd rather have to do a few touch-ups, and not have to worry about ruining the carpet. Hopefully the movers won't fvck up our walls too much!

It cracked me up, too! Esp. with all the news about Rep. Weiner lately, I have been laughing like an immature teenager. It's awesome.
Sounds like you have a great plan though to pain before the carpet. You'll have to keep us updated on how things go.

I just wanted to mention...
The carpet people totally screwed up my walls!! We had our carpet done a few weeks ago, and now there are several holes in my walls. I'm still fighting with them to come out and fix all the holes.
I hired professional movers a few years ago when I moved across the country. They did not damage anything. When I hired my friends to move a couple years ago, they damaged one wall.
The carpet people put many more holes in my walls than movers ever did.
