what i wonder about the sister wives...
their argument for people being understanding of their lifestyle is very similar to the argument for gay marriage. i really wonder where they stand on that issue. because if they don't support gay marriage then that's pretty hypocritical IMO. although, i have to say one of the guys at their friends dinner seemed like he could be gay, so maybe they are tolerant. i just wonder because of their religious views. i have been wondering this since i saw them on ellen.
Me:39 Dx LPD, Fibroid, AMA and all that goes with that. H:37 Dx low motility and low morphology. TTC since 3/12. Clomid 8/12 and 9/12: BFN. 11/12 on a break for Myomectomy sched. 11/26. Resume TTC early 2013.
Re: what i wonder about the sister wives...
i'm okay with both. there's no way in hell i'd share a man, but i don't think what they are doing is necessarily wrong i guess.
.
I'm okay with both too.
I'm wondering if there's anyone that's okay with one, but not the other.
my only thing is i wonder if i am okay with it for this family, but not all man kind. like maybe there are some sinister things about it. i'm sure there are also lots of legal ramifications.
did you read jodi picoult's new book? a lawyer in there mentions that it's all great until they split up. if you have two steparents in a normal divorce/remarriage situation, how many do you have in the polygamist lifestyle?
