does anyone else think that...
a 2 hour cheer practice is a bit long for 3, 4, and 5 year olds? It was 1 1/2 hours, but they upped the time for the summer and changed it to Monday nights 6-8. Hope she is good and doesnt loose her concentration. They all did at the 1 1/2 hour practices, so we shall see how it goes.
Re: does anyone else think that...
Gosh, even 1-1/2 hours seems long to me. Is this competitive cheerleading for toddlers?
I think 30-45 minutes is plenty long enough for a 3 year old
Yup still way to long, even for a competitive squad.
Ditto what MC said.
They are kids, let them be kids. There will be enough 2 hour long practices when she is older.
I didn't want you to take what I said wrong, I didn't mean YOU were not letting her be a kid.
I just meant, what happened to the days of a 30 minute session a week for things like dance, gymnatics, whatever. She is only 3 years old, it isn't like she is 16, I find it a little much when a place like that expects so much out of such a young child.
