Hi Ladies!!
Hi everyone! I hope you guys remember me from our wedding planning days! My goodness, I haven't been on here in forever! It's been such a crazy year so far and I really miss coming on here and talking to all of you. I'm really hoping to get back into this routine, because I loved the knot so much! It's so nice to see that so many of you kept posting after our weddings!! Here's my little life update:
I've been working like crazy since our wedding. My husband and I moved into an adorable little apartment when we returned from our honeymoon and it's finally really a home. We're so happy there and will hopefully stay until we get a house in a few years.
We adopted two sweet 8-week old kitties in the fall. A boy (Peyton) and a girl (Eliza). We love them so much and they are definitely a part of our little family. We didn't get much sleep at first because they loved to wake us up to play in the middle of the night, so after a couple of months they now sleep through the night (or at least, they don't wake us up).
My husband finished one more semester of school so we only have a year and a half to go! I really can't wait for two incomes!! He has Fridays off from school and he works at a breakfast/lunch restaurant on the weekends. Last weekend we finally had our first full day together in months! Over the summer he's interning Mondays-Thursdays and continuing on at the restaurant for the weekends.
All in all, we're really happy and are very excited for our first anniversary! We're going to do a weekend vacation to celebrate at the end of August.
