Job board recs?

Hi all,

I'm looking for a new job in Boston/Cambridge etc. and I've been looking on idealist.org, hireculture.org, and craigslist, but I'm coming up with less than awesome prospects (even though I'm looking for an Admin Assistant position... you'd think there's be a ton out there).

I was just wondering if any of you Boston nesties had an idea of where else to look!

Thanks!

Re: Job board recs?

  • I like indeed.com.  It's a spider that crawls a ton of sites (job boards, company sites, etc.) and you can create keyword-based alerts that get e-mailed to you daily.

    Good luck!

I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

  • Seconding indeed.com. My husband just started using that for his job hunt, and he's found tons more actual jobs (and far less spam) than Careerbuilder or Monster.

If you're at all interested in working for a college/university, there's also higheredjobs.com.

  • Thanks! This is really helpful!  I will check Indeed.com and higheredjobs.com too :)

  • Another rec here for indeed.com. That's pretty much all I use when I'm looking for jobs.
