Re: *jgreg*

  • Thanks for asking!  It was a good trip overall - got a lot of work done and it was good to spend a few days working in-person with my colleagues on my current project (they're both in our SF office).  I got over to Palo Alto this trip so that was fun to explore.  :-)

The eating part of the trip, sad to say, was almost a complete bust.  I had grand dreams of working my way through your list but I spent almost 12 hours at the office every day and it was rainy, making it hard to sit outside, people watch and eat.  :-(  I did manage to hit up Ozumo (kind of hard to miss as it was in my hotel) and Cowgirl Creamery Sidekick on my free nights.  Ozumo sushi was good and I LOVED that their bento box was half fruits and veggies.  I had an amazing gruyere and arugula pesto grilled cheese on sourdough at Cowgirl Creamery sidekick.  There's a Cowgirl Creamery near my office here in DC but I don't think they'll make me that grilled cheese.  Boo!  I'm definitely saving your list for future trips!  My coworkers introduced me to Cafe Venue for lunches.  Although a chain, it was really good and I can see why they head there for group lunches.  I'm still kicking myself for not getting their potato and leek soup, which looked amazing.
