while i am super excited that my h just accepted a job (after being jobless for almost 4 months), the salary leaves little to be desired.

My SIL is throwing my nieces a Little Mermaid themed birthday party this weekend. I can't go b/c I have a wedding but she asked to borrow my dvd copy of The Little Mermaid (stupid Disney has it in the vault so she can't buy her own copy). I seriously thought about lying and saying I didn't have it but instead I took it to my mom today to take to VA. I will have major anxiety about the fact that one of my Disney movies is not in my possesion until my mom comes back from VA on JULY 6th! I realize I have issues.

It's so damn annoying but I imagine it's a pretty genius business model. Only have production costs of so many DVDs at one time while creating huge demand for the unavailable ones. I'm pretty sure they sell enough DVDs during the pre-sale when a movie is about to be re-released to make up for the 7 years or whatever that it wasn't on the market.
