Hi everyone,
My fiancee (husband in less than 3 weeks) might be moving to BR this summer. He just got offered a job at LSU so the move would be by the end of summer. Does anyone have any recommendations on close neighborhoods near the university or any specific apartments for rent I should look into?
Thanks so much!
Re: moving to BR
Area 5 is the LSU area and definitely full of great neighborhoods. You may be able to find a house to rent if that is your thing. I know a lot of grad students live over on Corporate at Cedar Lodge (I think?). Not too far but not your "typical" student housing. Stay away from anywhere in Tigerland or on Brightside. A lot of undergrads live there and it's just very typical college antics.
Where are you moving from?
Thanks ladies.
We are still unsure about him accepting the position but want to be prepared in case we decide to go for it. We would be moving from Canada.
