How's everything growing?! Have you been able to harvest anything yet?

Re: Veggie Gardening Gals

  • Things are going pretty well with ours. The strawberries are out of control and so super yummy! Neena loves picking and eating them.

Our spinach and broccoli did poorly. Spinach bolted and broccoli flowered, so I harvested what I could and planted okra where they used to be. Now something keeps eating my okra! ARGH.

My root veggies are doing well, I already ate all of our radishes. :-D

Tomatoes, peppers, beans, and eggplant look great. I might actually have good tomoatoes this year. *fingers crossed*

  • Mine is doing pretty well... The only thing I have harvested is Kale and man is it doing well! I have kale coming out my ears!  My spinach is doing well though I haven't harvested any.  My tomatoes, egg plant, peppers all look great.  My one squash plant is hanging on by a thread...and my beans, cucumbers and green onions are looking okay I think.

  • We're doing so-so.

Tomatoes and peppers look awesome. We've almost got our first cherry tomatoes. They just need to redden up.

Apples are popping and just need to grow bigger.

Corn is on track to be great. Beans... not so much.

Pumpkin and watermelon are looking to be doing okay.

Head lettuce is coming along. Leaf lettuce went nuts.

Broccoli and cauliflower are full but they haven't flowered yet. (I didn't start them early)

Green onion took off and carrots took off.

Cherry and pear trees are a little stunned yet but hopefully they'll pull through.

We have a single blueberry on our bush, which I think is pretty good for the first year.

Marigolds.rosemary, and calendula haven't made an appearance from seed yet,but they're outside of the irrigation spray so they don't get as much water.

Out of 20 strawberry plants, 3 made it and they're just surviving. No berries that I can see. i'm so so so sad.

Hey can one of you post your pics of what bean plants look like? I need to weed that strip but I can't tell what is a weed and what is a bean sprout.  LOL!!!

If you're a FB friend, you can see the garden here.

  • Mrs. Reem I'm so jealous of your trees! I wish I had the space!  Also we're not fb friends and your link still worked for me.
