Holy mother we had one crazy storm last night. Starting shortly after 1am and lasting for about a half an hour it rained like crazy, blowing from pretty well all sides with constant flashes of lightening and rumbles of thunder. We ended up with water coming in every single open window. Nutso, but awesome.
Last night was the first time we've ever gotten in 2 full games of baseball. The games are 7 innings or 60 minutes, whichever comes first, and for once we went to 7 innings in both games. The team we were playing was really good, but we were playing very well. We lost the first game by 1 run, but won the second by 1 run. Apparently this team hasn't lost a game by less than 15 runs all season!
Tonight I need to get some groceries and then tackle the giant pile of laundry on our bedroom floor. It's ridiculous.

I think I woke up to the last crack of thunder! Man, the humidity is killing me today. I already have massive pit stains. That'll be hot for my interview!
When I got in to the office today, I saw my competition. She's older. Which means she probably has more experience. UGH. But, I'm going to try not to let this bother me and just plow through it at lunch today.

I woke up with a terrible headache and stiff neck today. I have no idea what I did. I feel like I slept well but am still completely exhausted. So I'm hitting the caffeine and just trying to make it through the day.
Tonight I think I'm going to take it easy. I've been busy doing things around the house all week, so I think I deserve a night off.
First- Kaesha I beat the pants off of 15 teachers to get the job I got and I have only been teaching for 2 years, my competition had been teaching for 10. You are going to kick some serious asz in this interview. Your principal LOVES you that's a HUGE plus!
I'm just relaxing today because Sean is working 2 shifts today, he has training this morning and then is working the Taylor Swift concert tonight. I'm planning on doing some research for the project I'm working on and then watching bad movies.

Good Morning Ladies!
Last night was a hot one but I love it. It was over 100 degrees last night and I sat at DH's double header softball games. We got home late so straight to bed for me.
Tonight, we are talking about doing dinner along the river on a patio with SIL and BIL. They are kid free for a couple of days so wanted to get together. I need to also get more house work done. We are hosting a birthday party for BIL at our house this weekend and there is still a lot to get done inside and outside.

Morning, all. Back at work, but still in job limbo. I did talk to HR, though, and offer letter should come within the day or so. As long as I can give notice by Friday, that's fine.

Not much in terms of plans for today; I'm assigned with getting H's butt out the door to the gym tonight, so that'll be amusing. While he's there, I'll make bison tacos for dinner. Today at work, since I have absolutely nothing to do, I plan on spending time on Pinterest. Damn, that site's addictive! I will also resist the urge to shop online out of sheer boredom. Maybe.

Busy day at work today, but nothing special. My back's been bad recently, so I got a sports massage this morning to hopefully help with that. Man it hurt, but I think it did some good - apparently all my back muscles are super tight. I'll go back in a week.
In other good news, we finally finished our taxes last night and I'm off to mail them out now. Please don't let them come back with follow up questions.

Man, I saw your Toronto weather on the news here last night. That's just crazy.
Today has started off well. It should be just a normal day today, although it's going to be stupid hot and humid, upper 90s with a heat index of well over 100. It's going to be brutal and we are under a heat advisory.
I finally got a poster frame for the last poster for my office and got that hung today. I made serious progress on the scarf I'm knitting last night and would love to finish it either tonight or tomorrow so I can start on something new. I have new yarn that I am itching to play with.

Good morning.
I'm having a rough morning. My dinner made me sick last night so I didn't sleep very well. H got frustrated because he had to do one of the night feedings that cuts into his 6 hours of sleep a night. I have had 6 hours of sleep in the last 2 nights. I know he is back to work and I don't go back until Sunday but with the way he sleeps He only does 2 feedings out of the 7 or 8 a day that Edmund eats. I've talked to him about this and it doesn't help.
My downstairs neighbors are being assholes.They have started pounding on the ceiling every time Edmund cries. I try to calm him down as fast as I can but he is very colicky so it is not always easy. I'm waiting for an email from our landlord about them complaining about it.

We finished as much flooring as we could in the nursery last night, to find out we were 20sq.ft. short. Booo. Thankfully, we started at the side of the room furthest away from the door, so we could put all the furniture in the room while we wait for the rest of the flooring to come in.
We also finally had to put the big AC in the kitchen. It got way too humid to really sit comfortably with a fan or anything else we tried. Plus, the dogs have to be home in this heat all day, and I always feel bad when I have to peel them off the floor when I get home. They should be cold and happy today. I'm pretty sure I forgot to set it to a bit warmer than normal, so that thing should be crankin all day.
Tonight will possibly be rearranging some furniture, but I think it's going to be mostly a relaxation night or maybe a dip in the pool quick.
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
I would beat them to the punch and complain to your landlord about THEM. That is absurd.

I have a ton of work piled up on my desk that I need to get caught up on today. Another law firm merged with ours so I spent Monday and Tuesday rearranging our office and moving them all in.
Tonight I plan on working out and then putting some steaks on the grill and relaxing! Is it really only Wednesday?

Morning everyone. This weather is crazy. The district is closing early today due to the heat, and there are rumors floating around that they may close completely tomorrow. As much as I would enjoy a day off, I just want the school year to be over.
I am going out for drinks with a couple of my teacher friends, then heading home to transfer everything we have stored in the basement to the attic.

I can't believe the weather some of you ladies have been having. Of course, Seattle is still Seattle. We hit 78 and were at the beach on Saturday and it's been raining ever since.
I have business lunches the next 3 days, I'm not looking forward to them. I hate awkward one on one business chat. I hate that my company forces these meetings as well.

Last night I went in for a consultation for a tattoo and when I got there the artist wasn't busy so he just did my tattoo on the spot. It is my first one so I was nervous, but I was surprised at how little it actually hurt.
Today, I have a borderline migraine so I'm hoping it will go away and I can get some more laundry done and tidy up my house. Gibson has baseball tonight, but it's looking like he may have a rained out game.

Today I was back to school and it was actually great. It was so much better for me be there rather than home. My kids were good, my four friends at work who knew I was pregnant left me a gift certificate for a massage on my desk this morning, and then I had a meeting this afternoon that I expected to be frustrating, but I just asserted myself and sort of took over the planning/time management and it all worked out and we actually got a bunch done...and I don't even think my principal is annoyed at me

Tonight we are grilling. Tomorrow I have my next blood drawn and then meet with my doctor and I am guessing we will schedule a D&C since I am still not bleeding at all. I'm ready to just get it done and start to move on...

Today was a pretty decent day at the hospital. Not too many problems to deal with.
Now I'm home and getting read to go to the gym for a run. It's WAY too hot outside (it's 95 right now, 100 with the humidity) so I have to hit the treadmill and Criminal Minds is on at 6pm so I'll be able to watch something good.
