Bright House for TV service?
New Nestie here with a question
DH and I are in the process of buying a house in Livonia. We love AT&T U-verse but it's not available at the new house and we are looking into various options. One of the options is Bright House. Does anyone have any experience with them? Good? Bad? We had never heard of them until starting our research tonight.
Thanks ladies!
Re: Bright House for TV service?
I had Brighthouse for about 5 years for internet and cable. No complaints regarding service nor price. I miss them.
ETA: I am pretty sure your only other option is the dish. Brighthouse controls Livonia, Farmington Hills and I believe Novi.
We have Brighthouse and we have no complaints. We actually switched to Bright House from ATT UVerse. ATT was horrible for us, always skipping and blipping in and out and customer service was slow and annoying.
I'm actually surprised you can't get UVerse in Livonia. What part are you looking at? One of my best friends lives in northern Livonia and she has UVerse. I really get annoyed with cable companies monopolizing certain areas.
The house is just a little north of 275 and 5 Mile. We're bummed we can't get U-verse because they have been fantastic for us at our current place and the only other cable option (besides Bright House) is Comcast and we will never go back to Comcast.
But thanks for the info about Bright House! DH is debating between cable and a dish so it's good to know people have had good experiences with them.
Thanks ladies!
We live in Livonia and have Brighthouse - no complaints.
FWIW re: cable monopolies - it's the choice of the providers where to offer service so, for example, WOW isn't in Livonia because WOW has chosen not to expand there at this time. Infrastructure for cable/internet is incredibly expensive and time consuming for the providers to install and if they don't think they will be able to generate enough customers they won't put the resources into the area.
