Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

... buying a new bed set and curtains to match makes you way too excited.

Yay you picked the one I like!
....when you get excited because you casually mentioned to your husband that you needed a first-aid kit for the house, and he goes out and buys a big giant Johnson & Johnson one.
...buying new silverware invokes the same feelings as actually buying silver jewelry.
...large appliances are exciting (my new washing machine sings to me!) and you can't wait for the store to deliver the second one. (Dryer? Yes, please!!)
ETA: Oh, and the idea of gardening even though you hate yard work! I can't wait to plant some peonies in my flower bed and have the shed done and moved so I can plant flowers around it too!!Ditto hating yard work, but last year after we mulched, a) I was suprised how much I didn't hate that task, and b) I danced around exclaiming "we have a grown-up yard, we have a grown-up yard!"
Ha! That's cute!
