What's up for this weekend?
This week needs to end, seriously. We're halfway though so I guess I can't complain. What's everyone's plans for the weekend? I'm doing a walk for our local Animal Rescue League shelter on Sunday and getting ready for my vacation next week - thank God!!
Re: What's up for this weekend?
Kare - that sounds fun - I really want to try it! We were going to do it in Costa Rica but didn't get around to it.
This weekend we have J's cousin's engagement party to go to. We have to take the kids with us which kinda blows. lol Gabby is the flower girl in the wedding anyway so I guess that's fine, plus she's easy in social situations - she loves it - but Genna wont be easy. Any of our possible babysitters are going to the party as well, and my only other option (my cousin, our girls' "honorary godmother" since we don't baptize) is going out of town - gah!!. J has to work late Saturday - wont be home til 7 or 8 - and the party starts at 7, so yeah THAT should be fun. ha.
no big plans. work in the yard, work on the house. i think we're going to go pick out the granite for the kitchen counters...i think getting that installed will make this place feel more "home" to me. we haven't made any changes to the inside bc the sellers painted it all one neurtral color when selling...and i just can't decide on paint yet.
other then that...i think i might start B in swin lessons so that would be Saturday. thats about it!
I swear the housework NEVER ends. We have family coming for 4th of July so at least that motivates me to get off my ass and do some major purging of stuff we don't need, and finish the projects we've started! It's hard when it's soooo nice out, I'd rather take the dogs to the park
