***cheeky, tracy****

So, I'm going to make the pork shoulder you posted about on my previous recipe request post (http://recipes.tysworld.com/index.php?m=recipes&a=view&recipe_id=5266).

How much does this make? Or, how many does it serve?

Re: ***cheeky, tracy****

  • I generally use about a 4-5lb piece of meat and it easily served 12 adults with leftovers at Molly's party.  I used it for sandwiches and this was a lunch serving with a bunch of other sides and dessert available.
  • we made it for our super bowl party and i think i had a 5-6lb shoulder with slider buns which served 7-8 adults with some leftovers.most people had seconds and this was the main part of our meal so i'm sure we went through more than if the sliders had been part of several other lunch or dinner options.
