Re: WTF Wednesday!
WTF mom! I know that Salty gets upset during storms but you HAVE to tell me when you give him a Valium when it's thundering or he's going to end up getting triple dosed again like yesterday when you doubled dosed him and didn't tell me! Poor stressed out dude.
WTF DH?! You're 26. You should know how to properly clean a toilet & load a dishwasher. I shouldn't have to repeatedly teach you.
& WTF Marriage Counselor?! I spoke up about an issue that has been bothering me for ~3 years now. It's something I've felt pretty insecure about (nothing DH has done, btw... totally me) & your response? Nothing. Awesome. Way to help out
Amen on the first one, except DH is 34 and still can't do it.
The second one annoys me for you, that really sucks
Why can't she pick cheaper matching outfits? That is crazy talk right there!
Seriously. Shopping is her thing though... she lurves to shop and spend $$ on clothes. I can't complain, I've got tons of nice maternity clothes from her
But I told her if she wants them to match, she can gift Violet outfits, it's not in our budget. She was fine with that!
WTF Mom? I've told you eleventybillion times that I cannot fix your internet for you. You have to call AT&T. Also, if you want to remove a program from your computer, you don't need me to do it. Just use the Add/Remove Programs Utility.
I may or may not have used my love for Macs as a cop out as to why I can't help her with her PC
I feel like this right now: http://theoatmeal.com/comics/computers
Ugh, my mom is the SAME way with the computer.
And my grandparents are like that with cell phones. They seem to ALWAYS be getting new ones when their contract renews, I'm like hey dumbasses, just keep your current phone since you know how to use it! Just because you can get one doesn't mean you have to!
My mom does this too. I'm like "You need to call DirecTV. I don't know why such & such isn't working". I sent her the article that MM posted about negotiating a lower bill & told her I followed it to a T & got my DirecTV bill lowered. She called & said it didn't work & blah blah. She wants to know how I got so lucky.
Here's the kicker: My mom sits at a desk & works on a computer all day... so it's not like she's totally computer illiterate. She works in Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. She should KNOW how to do this crap.
I honestly think she does crap like this just to make me come over & give her attention sometimes so she'll feel like someone still cares about her. It's not like she never sees my brother & I. I usually go to Target or Kohls with her on the weekends & we go to lunch occasionally. My brother is over there almost every weekend as well.
