Ohhhhh, Chief of Staff! I had to google his name to figure it out.
I heard this too. I don't know much about him (or even much about what the COS does), but the little bit I've heard is that it's a good, strategic pick.
I suspect across America, the racists are probably going nuts, as I believe RE is Muslim.

I just looked it up. You are right. Whoops. I am getting him confused with Keith Ellison. For some reason I thought Ellison was from Illinois.
He is an observant Jew and I am THRILLED!
Its the highest position a Jewish person has held in the government!!
and I can gloat to my parents that Obama is actually a friend to the Jews and isnt going to destroy Israel after all... what Chief of Staff would let that happen???
