Father's Day is the 19th (next weekend). Do you have any idea what your present will be? I need ideas quickly. My Father lives in Florida and I need to order his gift soon. TIA for the help!
Re: Father's Day
10 Years Later
we don't gifts for our parents for either Father's/Mother's day, they don't want anything & it's hard enough to buy them Christmas gifts (i guess when you get into your late 60's early 70's you already have everything you need)
all they want is a card & either going out to eat or for Father's day we usually grill out
My Dad doesn't want anything. So I bought him a gift card for Amazon, and we are taking him out to dinner next week. He just 'wants time with his girls' is all he says to us.
For DH, I got him a golf shirt, coffee mug with DS' pic on it, and a gift card to a golf course that he would never go to since it's really expensive.
Does your dad have any hobbies, like golf? you could always get him a gift card for a restaruant or hobby that is local to him
That's the hard thing. My Dad doesn't have any hobbies. The past couple of years I gave him a nice polo shirt or a gift card to a restaurant or to Sears (his favorite store "it has everything").

He does but not very often. Seriously, I think he may be the hardest person to buy for.
Honestly I probably won't even get my Dad a card. It's never been a big holiday in my family so I know a call will be fine for my Dad and I doubt FIL cares about a card. Neither is the sentimental type.
So I'm zero help. Is there a hobby/interest he has and you can get him something related to that?
my dad - I will get him something golf or Lion's related.
my FIL - I think we are all going in to buy him one of those heated massage chair things. He broke his last one and mentioned wanting another one.
My FIL came into town last weekend, so we got both dads tickets to the Tigers/Red Sox game (FIL is from the east coast=Red Sox fan).
That doesn't help you at all though....
