Today is going to be great! *chanting*
My chant for the day: "Today is going to be great! I am going to make today the best it can be."
The reason: Today is the anniversary that my dad was killed in a car accident, just 2 months after the adoption was final. It happen 23 yrs ago, when I was 10 and my sisters were 2 & 4. I grew up a LOT that day and while I was still a child, my mom relied on me quite a bit more. I am the person I am because of what happened. And while I miss him every day, I know I would not be who I am without it happening. I know he looks down from heaven every day and smiles (or laughs). So I refuse to be sad.
