I am getting my first one next week and I'm scared! With all of the breast cancer in my family, my Dr wanted me to start getting them yearly at age 30. I'm now 30, and just went to see her yesterday, so they begin.
Have any of you had one? What was your experience? Advice? Thanks!

Re: Mammograms?
Personally, I have not had a mamo, just a breast u/s. One of my friends had one recently and said it really wasn't that bad. This mamo she had was a digital mamo. She said it was much easier than the non-digital ones. She said she was actually comfortable with it.
My understanding is that it can be a little uncomfortable because they have to smoosh them so much, and the angles that they use.
HTH! and good luck!
Hmm, interesting. I had no idea there was a digital and non-digital kind. I have no clue which one I am having though...
I am in the less boobage category.... ugh
Well, I'll let you know next week how uncomfortable it truly is!
