Re: Kiddie GTG (Clicky Poll... Yippeeee!!)
My silly Lily is almost 4.
I'm good for the 23rd too.
Tricia, if my car is working, I may be able to come get you. The car I'm driving now is not conducive to 2 car seats (its barely conducive to 1), but hopefully by then it will be fixed.
Hmm, that is a little far for me to go back, so I don't think I would use it again. Plus when I looked at their website, they don't have specific toddler play times, and when I've been to places like that without times just for little kids, they get ran over by older kids.
We could always do a mall play area or something else inside for the 23rd. Then for a bigger GTG we could do a sprayground (Kate Jackson, Curtis Hixon, or the one in Dunedin) on either July 9 or even a Sunday evening like the 17th or something.
Gator Fred's actually has specific toddler zones with smaller inflatables. They also have imagination stations with dress up and make-believe rooms (fire station, grocery store, etc.), so it is definitely okay for younger kids. DD was under two when I brought her and she was totally safe the whole time (and I'm a worrier!). It's fine if not everyone wants to do that, but I wanted to clear up the details in case that was your only concern.
Since it's been a little hard to nail down details, I'm just going to say that I'll be at the main Arbor Greene playground (by the clubhouse) at 10:30am on 6/23. I'd love for anyone interested to come! If you need directions (or my name to give the guard), let me know. I'm still down for the sprayground idea, too. I just want to get this particular GTG rolling.
