daycare costs
Would anyone be willing to share average daycare costs for both a center daycare and an in home daycare program? We are just starting some preliminary planning and I was curious. I know it is a big range, just getting ideas.
I am looking in both delaware county and chester county

In South Jersey, my research showed that a dc center ranged from $200/week and $268/week for 5 days full time. In-home was $185/week for 5 days full time.
I just switched my daughter from an in home daycare to a center after 2 months. She was being well cared for but there were some things I wasn't comfortable with and I preferred to move her to a more structured center.
Good luck. It's a hard decision. Costs are important but make sure you listen to your gut.
My DD goes to a Chesterbrook Academy in Chester County. Next year's tuition is $197/week for 5 half days. We could drop her off at 7am and I have to pick her up by 1. Not sure of the exact cost of a full week, but it is not double, more like $100 more/week.
Even Chesterbrook Academy's differ on exactly where you live. A friend lives out near Limerick and pays less for the same age group.
