I can't keep my bathtub clean!
DH and I are somewhat of clean freaks, but we just can't keep the tub clean. Dirt accumulates underneath the bath mat frequently, and stains keep appearing on the sides and bottom of the tub - I'm talking maybe two days after I've cleaned it. Any suggestions? I'm willing to try just about anything at this point.

RIP Dr. Irving Fishman - 10/1/19-7/25/10 - thank you for holding on for me.
You made my wedding day complete.

Re: I can't keep my bathtub clean!
I like things clean too but to be honest, I gave up on the tub.
It gets a good scrubbing once every other week and in the between time I either spray it down with some bleach water in a spray bottle or I wipe it down with a squeegee as I'm in the shower.
It's not perfect but it's presentable. I think most people's showers/tubs are that way.

A while back, someone on this board gave me a shower tip I thank the Lord for every day. Keep it dry! Every day or two, after my shower and after I'm dry, I use my towel to wipe every corner of the tub and shower dry. It gets all of the residue off the tub walls and keeps the tub pretty sparkling. Then, just toss the towel in the wash and you're clean!
When I do need to do a deep clean, I spray Soft Scrub's Foaming Bathroom Cleanser on any needed spots, let it sit for 15-20 minutes and then run a hot shower for 10-15 minutes. Then, I wipe down with a towel again.
