Good! I was around a teensy bit this week, but work has been kicking my butt. However, I did settle a case this morning, and since today is such a great day, I'm saying eff it to work
How's CA? Did you find a job? Whats new??
Congrats on settling a case! That's awesome.
I haven't been on the MM board in ages so I think I miss a lot of the gossip.
I did find a job, but it's a contract atty gig, and about 25-30 hours a week, mostly from home. It's a union-side firm and I'm doing benefits - pension plans and the like. I'm learning stuff, and it's a pay check, so it works for now. I still have a few weeks until I get my bar results, so I'm mostly panicking about that.
But, CA is fantastic (well except for that whole prop 8 thing). I like our neighborhood. I'm meeting a lot of cool people. We had a big election party here last night and two nesties came - meshilau and volenti! So, things have been good!
