Sex after the wedding? (poll)

I was in a wedding this past weekend, and while we were all getting ready we were discussing if people had sex on their wedding night or not. So 10-10ers, did you get down and dirty on your wedding night?[Poll]

I thought we were going to be too exhausted to do it on our wedding night, but we had just enough adrenaline left to make love that night. Also due to our MI/NY situation we hadn't had an opportunity to have sex at least a week before the wedding, so I think that helped us find enough energy that night.

No sex on the wedding night. I was so knackered, I went back to the room, got out of my dress, took my hair out, crashed in the bed and thought "if DH doesn't show up in the next 5 minutes, he's SOL". hubby showed up about 10 minutes later, and tried rubbing my back or something, but I was out cold. No way was that happening.

The next morning we both had it on our minds, but my dad knocked on the door at 8am and said some people were leaving already and if we wanted to say goodbye to them, we should pitter patter. So we rushed out of bed.

And we had no honeymoon.

So I count as the least sexy bride for this poll.

Nope, pretty sure that'd be me. We didn't "seal the deal" until nearly a week after the wedding. I can't even say why, for sure...just never quite got the opportunity in conjunction with the private time.

I think I win that prize...

I was on a BCP (started on it a week before the wedding) that made me bleed for the entire duration I took it. Maybe twice in two months did we get a chance to have sex. I got fed up about two months after the wedding. I stopped taking it, had a real period, and we started trying to get pregnant...

We also didn't do it on the wedding or the honeymoon. It was SO late the night of the wedding and then DH had serious stomach issues on the honeymoon (thank you mexico!) but we had done it before so no biggie

We didn't have sex the night of the wedding. Our wedding was early, the ceremony started at noon so I was up at 5am getting ready after not falling asleep until after 1am, so by the time we got home and settled around 8pm, I was exhausted and ended up getting a migraine which I think was caused by lack of sleep, exhaustion, and lots of wine lol. So we were in bed sound asleep by 9pm; I would have liked to have sex that night but it just wasn't good timing and we had already been having sex for like 6 years, so doing it that night wasn't important to us. We ended up having sex on our balcony the next day on our honeymoon.

Wedding night for us. And of course we'd done it before (we'd lived together for 11 years before the wedding) but it had honestly probably been 3 months since we'd done it. And that wasn't on purpose or anything, but just from sheer exhaustion and being so busy!

Wedding night for us (although it wasn't our first time).

I actually think both of us were thinking we wouldn't when we checked into the hotel b/c we were both exhausted, but once we got up to our room, my friend and her mom had decorated it with rose petals and had wine/glass/opener sitting out for us, so it put us in the mood.

I was so exhausted so was mike, I had put on my 'wedding night' lingerie and stuff, and we ended up falling asleep once we hit the bed... we had an early flight to catch so we ended up waiting till we got to the hotel the next day before we did it.

This is why I ended up not buying anythign special for that night. Once my dress came off, I was naked until the next morning. Lol

We did it that night, but it almost didn't happen because I was sooooo tired and felt like crap. We didn't drink much at our reception because we were so busy talking to people so Lance drove us to the hotel. I couldn't wait to get out of my dress and take my hair out. We had a hot tub in the room so we sat in that for a bit and that put us both in the mood After that I needed a pop so he went to the pop machine and by the time he got back I was OUT!

I did make sure that I changed into my sex outfit before we crashed and I had to open my gift.

We actually weren't that tired. Got to the hotel, consumated (lol), then went to Denny's since we were both hungry. It was awesome though
