I have more questions for youuu... lol. I feel like I'm asking you ladies questions every other day.
What age was your LO when you introduced a bottle?
How did you go about introducing it? How did you LO handle it?
What brands did you try? And which one did you end up "settling down" with?
My overly happy baby girl!

Re: BFing momma's!!
We introduced it at like 2 weeks b/c that's when I was dealing with mastitis and I had to pump one day so he ate from a bottle that day (way sooner than the 21 days old suggestion I've heard). It went fine, the kid would eat from anything. I hear lots of people say the baby won't take a bottle from momma.
Some recommendations say to squeeze a little out and put it on their lip so they know that milk is going to be coming from the thing in their face thats not their momma.
We only used Dr. Browns.
we gave her a bottle at 2 weeks and 1 day. i didn't want her to go too long that she grew attached to the boob and refuse to take the bottle. she didn't have a problem taking a pacifier so i wasn't concerned with nipple confusion. i'm not really sure i believe in that exists. personally, i think it's that the baby has to work at nursing and not from a bottle so they get lazy. z never had a problem.
we started with born free and still use them. i absolutely LOVE them. whichever you decide, make sure you use the slowest nipple and work your way up. we didn't move up to the next stage until december/january and we finally moved up to stage 3 nipples last week. i think the flow of the nipple being as close to the flow of my breast helped her not care where she got her milk.
eta: i have dr brown bottles that we never used if you wanted me to send them to you.

we gave hime one at a little over 6weeks
dh gave it to him one afternoon and he just mowed it down
we use the Tomee Tipee ones and nothing else.
I'll take them if Mar doesn't want them.
They're all yours. We didnt try the dr browns but she took the avent bottle first try, so either way were good.

Dani (or anyone else) I have 6 8oz Dr Browns bottles and 6 or 8 4-oz bottles that you can have if you want. You could just sterilize them (heck I could probably throw in the sterilizer!) and use your own new nipple(s) if you want.
J was about 8 weeks when we started trying. I left the building for what was apparently torture for J and MH.
(MH was still getting to know the little guy at that point. They're good buds now of course.) Anyway, it didn't work at 8 weeks, or really at 9 weeks. So, MH put him in the bouncy chair in front of a cartoon and got him to use the bottle while he was distracted by the TV.
We tried Avent, Tommee Tippee, Breastflow, Playtex, Dr. Brown's, and I think some others until he finally settled on Dr. Brown's. (Any of you mamas who settle on the Dr. Browns should also spring for 1 or 2 of the special dishwasher baskets for those bottles. It makes cleaning them SO much easier!!)
I packaged up all the bottles we tried for a friend of mine who was introducing the bottle to her little girl, or else I'd offer you new mamas/mamas-to-be a care package.
Actually, I don't have a sterilizer so if you're looking to part with it, I'll take it. No biggie if you're not looking to give it up just yet. Thanks!
Sure! No problem, I am done with it since we're strictly sippy cups now.
Awesome! Do you have my address?
I do, but Alicia and I may have a better idea
Did you want the bottles too or did you get enough at your shower?
