I'm no longer a virgin!

I got my first tattoo last night. For those of you who haven't seen it on FB, I figured I'd share a pic of it.

  • Looks great. Obviously "Wand" means something, but is there a design/idea behind the rose?

btw - once you have one, you don't stop.

  • Thank you.

    Wand- my last name.

I designed the rose because of all I've accomplished with my business. I've come a long way in the last (almost) 2 years since I started "Wand"erful Life Bouquets. I don't plan on having just one tattoo. Gibson wants me to have one for him (which I've been meaning to do since he was born) so the next one is going to be a "Gibson" guitar. Then once Izaac is old enough, he's going to help me design one for him.

  • Very nice.  All of you with tattoo's are brave women. I'm a sissy and don't know if I could ever do it.

This exactly I would love one but I am scared. Yours looks great.

  • You know, I thought I was going to chicken out once I got there. It actually wasn't that bad. The worst part for me was where he tattooed "Wand" and the tip of the thorn where it gets close to my hand. It felt kind of like someone was scratching a sunburn lightly. I think the healing part is the worst. It doesn't hurt bad, but it's dry and feels like sunburn. If you can handle one spot of your body that feels like that then you have nothing to worry about. From what I hear, it helps if your tattoo artist likes you too.
