So using the search suggestions several of you left yesterday, I came across this incredibly awesome site that I thought I'd share with everyone in case anyone else is considering moving or if you're just bored and want to look up your current city.
This site has EVERYTHING you would want to know about your (potential) city - crime rate, education level, weather, school, annual earnings, home prices, air quality, unemployment, ethnic populations, religious statistics, etc etc.
My current city's crime rate is 458 (yikes). But where we're looking at moving its around 160!
Also, some have rankings at the bottom which are kind of fun to read.

Oh really? Where?
We're not totally sure yet. We're probably going to drive around some neighborhoods this weekend....Ashburn, Chantilly, Herndon, maybe even as far as Gainesville (although I think that might be tooooo far!)

Ooo neat! Looking for single family homes? Yea, I wouldn't want to move to Gainesville either. Ashburn was the furthest I wanted and I think it's a nicer area than Gainesville, although G'ville is cheaper.
Yep, single family. It's a shame about Gainesville though....you can get more home for your money out there:(

I agree! I think eventually it will become nicer, but I didn't want to move out there. I wanted to stay in Fairfax County but Ashburn was a good middle ground. Good luck on your search!
Thanks!
