Clicky Poll

Eventhough it's Thursday I knew I would forget this question before next week. I tried posting it yesterday, but the nest wouldn't let me for some reason. [Poll]

Re: Clicky Poll

  • For a while now I have felt like I really can't identify with one specific party. I mostly consider myself a moderate conservative. If that makes any sense. There are issues that I agree with one both sides. DH and I like to consider ourselves "indifferent".

  • I voted SS, I'm registered as one, but probably consider myself more aligned with the other party.  I registered as an 18 year old and have never changed the registration, though my views have changed with greater exposure to the world outside of the knothole I grew up in.

Overall though, I'm definitely issue driven rather than party driven by far.

  • If there were a party that was fiscally conservative and socially liberal, I'd sign up. So, I put SS. However, I am a registered Republican.

It gives me joy to vote out the really, really crazy people in that party.

I'm right there with you!  (Although I have a friend who actually is a Communist, and, interestingly, I think he detests liberals more than conservatives.)

  • I'm registered Democrat, and that's typically how I vote.

However, I think most of our elected Democrats are pvssies.

  • I'm registered with one party but am changing my mind on my views as I learn more about the political world. I'm kinda in between right now.

  • Special snowflake here... In OK D and I are both registered democrats. And while living in OK I consider myself as well as D just that. But now that we live in SoCal we are very conservative. It seems as though an Okie democrat is a conservative republican in Cali. Kind of sad, but I wonder what they (people in Cali) would consider a true conservative republican from OK.

I don't associate with a party anymore. I really don't know what I am - some views are pretty liberal.
  • I registered under a party because that's what my parents were. I'm not sure which one I identify with more at this point though; I agree with some of the "traditional" strongholds of each party. I guess that makes me a staunch moderate.

I don't like the extremists at either end of the spectrum. I never vote straight ticket- I vote for individuals.
