Fave wines under $20 a bottle
What are your favorite wines for under $20 in PA state stores?
I really like the Vernaccia de San Gimignano white wine that sells for about 13.99 a bottle. I got hooked on this in Italy and am not usually a white wine lover, but this is great for the price.
I find it challenging to find excellent red wines for affordable prices and am looking for your recommendations.

Re: Fave wines under $20 a bottle
Seven deadly zins is inexpensive and an all around good table wine that can be found everywhere.
For whites, the Chateau St Michelle riesling is also good and cheap and readily available.
I'm not really that much of a red drinker (unless they are from CA) but Ravenswood has some solid ones in that price range.
As for whites, I like the Toasted Head chard or viogner - both under $20. Usually anything from Pine Ridge, Artesa or Chateau Felice is a go-to and may be found for $20 or less if on sale.
Oh wine, how I miss thee....
Before I got KU, I was really into drinking South American reds (Malbec, Pinot Noir, Cab, Carmenere). They are super cheap and super tasty. I love anything by Broquel, especially their Malbec (I'm pretty sure it's $14.99). Try wines from the Mendoza region in Argentina. Reliable brands are Bodega Norton, Concha Y Toro and Trapiche. As for Chilean wines, good brands are Montes, Concha Y Toro and Casa Lapostolle.

I am not a huge red drinker, but I love Marques di Riscal Rioja
I just tried a new white last night - a sauv blanc from Marlborough, NZ called 3 Stones. It was yummy and is a Chairman's Selection this week - $8.99!

You cannot go wrong with any sauv blanc from Marlborough, NZ. I am not a huge white wine drinker, but when I do have a glass, it's always sauv blanc. Barefoot and Kim Crawford are also good wineries from that region, although the KC wines are in the $20-$25 range.

Actually, I lied. I forgot Barefoot in from CA.
Also, Brancott and Nobilo are awesome NZ SBs. God, I'd kill for a glass right now.
