How similar are your political views and your parents'? My views on certain political or even social issues are more liberal I think than my parents. We hardly ever talk about politics in my family.
How similar are your political views and your H's? DH's and I have the same political views. Honestly, I think it would be really difficult not to. if on ocassion we don't see eye to eye on something we talk it out. There has been one maybe that we have just decided to agree to disagree.

How similar are your political views and your parents'? My mom and I have just about the same views. My dad and I, though...we're almost complete opposites. I don't get into debates with him because it just pisses me off [but I love him dearly, seriously].
How similar are your political views and your H's? H has no political views, which is ridiculous. He never pays attention to anything that doesn't affect him directly - and even that type of stuff, he doesn't know much about. He gets his news and views from me, but I'm working on getting him to figure his political views out on his own.
How similar are your political views and your parents'? My views are completely opposite of my mom's. She's pretty liberal. Growing up, I always thought I was a democrat (at the time, I wasn't sure what that meant, but since my mom was a democrat, I thought I had to be, too.) When I became a Christian, I started developing my opinions and beliefs more. I'm not sure what my dad's views are. He would never tell us who he voted for or his views on anything. I don't even think he would tell my mom.
How similar are your political views and your H's? DH and I both have the same views. If I'm ever not sure about what I believe about certain topics, I'll ask him and we'll discuss it. Since we have the same Christian beliefs, we'll usually come to the same conclusion.

Parents: My mom and I tend to line up most of the time. However, she is very anti-choice and I am not. My dad isn't even registered to vote, but I catch some libertarian slipping out of him every now and again.
H: N/A, but I will say that there are some issues that are deal-breakers for me. I can't imagine sharing a life with someone who either wasn't at all interested in politics, or who had beliefs so divergent from mine on important issues.
I will say I'm much more vociferous about politics than anyone in my family or the guy I'm currently dating.
How similar are your political views and your parents'? This is a tough one to answer for me, because I'm not sure my parents really know what their political beliefs are. I know they have knee-jerk reactions to be conservative, but anytime I've talked to them about an issue, they see the more liberal side as well. I don't think either of them think much about politics, at all.
How similar are your political views and your H's? We are pretty much the same. H is probably a little more to the right, but we both identify ourselves as libertarians. Until around two years ago, I was politically apathetic. I'm trying to care more and do my part, but it's so frustrating. There aren't many people in politics that I'd feel comfortable endorsing.
How similar are your political views and your H's? Pretty similar. As wildly different as our religious beliefs are, many of our political views line up pretty well.

How similar are your political views and your H's? We are complete opposites 90% of the time. Registered as the same party but he thinks totally differnent than he is registered.
My parents are very opposite of me. I avoid conversations because I get annoyed. They listen to Fox News too much.
H referred to himself as very conservative, but he agrees with me on many things. He doesn't like the Republican Party much.
How similar are your political views and your parents'? I'm not sure. My parents never discussed politics much. I think my mom and I are probably fairly similar, but I think my dad is more conservative.
How similar are your political views and your H's? We have many similar beliefs, but I tend to be more socially liberal than he is. We agree most of the time on fiscal policies. I'd classify both of us as as moderates.

How similar are your political views and your H's? We agree on NOTHING. But we're able to discuss it without arguing and thinking the other is an idiot, so I guess that's how it works. Sometimes I'll change his mind about things, but I think it's because I'm better at arguing my point than he is.
