Pam

Weve been doing a lot of traveling with Margot lately on highways - some with large distances in between exits. What I did was pump 1-2 bottles depending on how long the drive was. If she got hungry near an exit we pulled over to feed and change her. If there was no exit for a while, I gave her a bottle in her carseat until we got to an exit. Then, we would get off, finish feeding, burp her, etc. However, there were a couple times that she fell asleep eating the bottle and we just kept going. Just thought I would share :) I'm actually in the car next to Margot now on our way up to Charlotte and she just took a bottle and fell asleep :)

Re: Pam

  • Thanks Kristen! I get car sick if I'm in the back seat and was selfishly trying to avoid sitting in the back with her, but I may just have to suck it up and deal, lol.
  • (Butting in)

There was just this post about traveling with a LO on my birth board.

  • Bummer my bewbies are so small, lol!
  • I tend to get carsick in the back too, so I sat behind the passenger seat and took the headrest out so I could look straight ahead. It helped a lot! Dh laughed at me, but whatever! Haha
