Passed my 1-hour glucose test
My OB just called and told me that I passed my 1-hour glucose test I took on Tuesday. They did say that the results also showed that I am anemic and I have to stop in on the way home to get a prescription for prenatal iron supplements. I am not surprised by this. I tend to run borderline anemic normally and am borderline hypoglycemic.

I'm sure that will be noted in your file and how that may alter your results.
The drink wasn't that bad. Mine was the orange flavored and it was basically 10-12oz of room temperature, flat orange soda. I love orange soda too so that helped. I expected it to be a little thick and it wasn't.
Yay you! The 3 hour test is a bore (I know) and GD is the suck (I've heard).
Stinky about the anemia. That probably hasn't helped your tiredness. I've always been anemic except for when I was pregnant! I think it was my prenatals helping there.
That is probably why I get so tired so easily. I carry a small laundry basket upstairs and need to lay down for a few minutes before I have the energy to get up and put it away. I guess I'll know better if the iron changes that. But it may be hard to tell since I hit third trimester in 17 days and I'm sure that exhaustion will counteract any improvement the iron makes. Oh well. It's all worth it and I've had it so easy so far that I really can't complain and am actually surprised this is the first test that came up anemic.
Yay! I love that your Dr. called you, my office only calls if you fail (though you can call if you want).
