So pumped re: boys' room decor

DH and I want to do a nautical theme for the boys room. We bought this bed last year, planning on having them share it. Since we didn't know what Jonathan was, we waited on decor until we had him, and were in a house.

In the meantime, I found some home decor fabric with a white background with sailboats and ship's wheels in a dusty blue on it. So I made a curtain for their room. I have to make another panel, because their window in the house is wider, and I'll probably make a few pillows with it too.

We've been having a time trying to find some nautical stuff that didn't look cheesy, then I found this on PB Kids:

Boat

Sconce

Lamp

So we were thinking of putting a white chair railing up, and painting a dusty blue on the bottom half, and a canvas color on top. DH talked about putting up beadboard, but we want to put that in their bath, so I think that will be too much. Plus, that may be a little too personalized for resale.

I'd like to find a blue or blue striped bedding set for their bed. Add some shelving, and I'm thinking that's enough. How does that sound? Any ideas/opinions/suggestions?
